The Historic Environment Record of Northern Ireland (HERoNI) obtains copies of final reports for every licensed archaeological excavation being undertaken throughout Northern Ireland.
Accessing excavation reports
HERoNI has a complete record of the archaeological investigations that have taken place here over many years. We have created a digital map-based record, plotting the locations of more than 2,600 excavations across Northern Ireland,with many having the associated excavation reports available to view and download as PDF attachments.
