Partnership Agreement between the Department for Communities and NILGOSC

The Department for Communities is the sponsor Department for the Northern Ireland Local Government Officers’ Superannuation Committee (NILGOSC). Working together, both organisations have agreed a Partnership Agreement, signed in March 2026, which sets out how they will work collaboratively to support the effective governance and delivery of the Local Government Pension Scheme (NI).
The agreement marks an important step in strengthening partnership working, providing a clear framework for accountability, engagement and shared objectives, and reinforcing a culture of trust, openness and collective responsibility across both organisations
