Corporate Services - Deputy Secretary
John Greer is the Deputy Secretary of Corporate Services Group in the Department for Communities, Northern Ireland.
The Corporate Services Group is responsible for a range of governance and professional functions including finance, contract management, business planning, risk management, COVID-19 recovery, governance, statistical, economist and analytical services.
The group plays an enabling role, ensuring business areas have access to timely high quality advice, guidance and information and promoting a collaborative approach across the Department. It is responsible for supporting evidence based, outcome focused, policy making across the Department.
It also has a governance role, exercising a challenge and reporting function to ensure the effective use of resources, to achieve Programme for Government priorities.
