    The Warm Healthy Homes Strategy 2026-2036 sets out a 10-year framework to alleviate fuel poverty. It is Northern Ireland’s first comprehensive strategy to tackle fuel poverty in the context of legal carbon emission reduction targets.

    The three key themes set out our main areas of focus. These are: make homes more efficient, collaborate and build capacity, and protect consumers. The forthcoming energy efficiency fund, Warm Healthy Homes, is a central pillar of the Strategy.
