The Housing Executive administer five private sector home improvement grants on behalf of the Department.
The grants support essential repairs and adaptations to private sector housing to enable people to live independently and safely in their homes and include:
- Disabled Facilities Grant
- Repair Grant
- Home Repair Assistance Grant
- Renovation Grant
- Replacement Grant
The purpose of this review is to examine the current policy and legislation that underpins these grants.
