Applying behavioural insights to encourage earlier engagement from borrowers in mortgage arrears

The report sets out the Behavioural Insight Team’s proposals about what could be done to stimulate early engagement from borrowers woth mortgage debt. The suggestions range in scale from quite detailed comments about letters to borrowers issued by various parties to higher level policy suggestions for a range of government departments to consider.
