Consultation description
The Department for Communities is consulting on proposals to improve Private Sector Home Improvement Grants, including the Disabled Facilities Grant, Repair Grant and discretionary Home Improvement Grants. The grants have changed little since 2003, despite changes in people’s needs, housing circumstances and the cost of repairs and adaptations. The consultation sets out ten proposals designed to improve access to funding, simplify the application process and make the grants easier for people to use.
The Department has also published its Equality Impact Screening document relating to this consultation.
The Privacy Notice specific to this consultation is available at Annex A, pages 37 to 38 of the consultation document.
