    The Village Catalyst programme aims to help rural community groups to bring disused historic buildings back to life. The buildings must be in villages of less than 5000 people and either listed or in a conservation area; and the uses proposed must meet the aims of DAERA’s Tackling Rural Poverty and Social Isolation (TRPSI) framework.

    The overarching aim is to improve lives while addressing dereliction with a view to stimulation wider regeneration, hence the title, Village Catalyst.
