    These Regulations amend the Statutory Sick Pay (General) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1982, in order to ensure that individuals will be eligible for Statutory Sick Pay (SSP) for the full period for which they are required to self-isolate, including where they have tested positive for coronavirus, or where they are in a household with someone who has tested positive. This Statutory Rule therefore reflects the changes to public health advice on self-isolation in Northern Ireland, which came into effect on 14 December 2020
