Section 167 of the Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008 - Rural Needs Impact Assessment

The Independent Review of Charity Regulation highlighted several sections of the Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008 that required amendment to remove ambiguity or to enable parts to be enacted. Eight of the recommendations relate to s167 and need to be considered prior to its commencement. This consultation will seek the views of those whose work is affected by s167.
