  • Scheme of Delegation for the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland - Rural Needs Impact Assessment

    Topics:
    • Voluntary and community

    Date published: 20 March 2023

The Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2022 allows that the Department may make a Scheme of Delegation which will permit some Commission functions to be delegated to staff. Some decisions can never be delegated to staff. The Scheme would allow the Commission to function more efficiently and effectively and provide openness and transparency as to how the Commission takes its decisions so that the public has full confidence that those decisions are taken at the appropriate level within the Commission
