This privacy notice from the Department for Communities (DfC) tells our customers and service users how we process your personal data in accordance with our legal obligations under the Data Protection Act (DPA) and the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UKGDPR).
- Your personal information is required for the purposes of making public appointment(s)
- Equal opportunities monitoring information (provided voluntarily) is collected in an anonymous form for analysis by the Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency (NISRA) for publication in an annual Public Appointments Report. This is gathered by NISRA through use of a Public Appointments Database
- Information gathered through the public appointment process, not including equal opportunities data, is also taken into consideration by Ministers in making the final candidate selection.
