Local Labour Market Partnerships (LMPs) have been established in each of the 11 Local Government Districts (LGDs) in Northern Ireland (NI) to develop a range of new employability provisions that address the specific labour market needs and challenges of the local areas. To assist LMPs in identifying these challenges and opportunities at the LGD level, and therefore help inform the development and monitoring of their targeted action plans and interventions, the Department’s Professional Services Unit has launched the NI local Labour Market Insight (LMI) dashboard.

The dashboard provides a centralised, interactive means of monitoring, measuring, analysing, benchmarking and extracting relevant insights from different datasets in key areas while displaying statistics in an interactive, intuitive and visual way. By taking data from a number of sources and consolidating it, it offers LMPs and other users a comprehensive overview of relevant metrics at a glance and empowers them to identify issues, monitor progress and measure success across each LGD in NI. The dashboard consists of labour market related indicators and is made up of 4 sections covering the labour market, qualifications & skills, economy, and enterprise.

PSU would welcome any feedback pertaining to the data or format of the NI Local LMI dashboard at Analytics Division.
