    The purpose of the Newtownabbey regeneration strategy is to provide strategic guidance as to how the two centres of Ballyclare and Glengormley will develop and thrive over the next 20 years,  It seeks to protect the existing physical,social and economic assets in the two centres and to enhance the quality of the offer presented by the Borough of Newtownabbey as a place to live, work and visit.
