The competition to award funding to support the delivery of a new supply of Intermediate Rent homes closed to applications on 23 August 2024. The outcome of the competition will be available in due course.
The award intends to support the delivery of 300 new Intermediate Rent homes, and the Department is seeking to work with an organisation (or multiple organisations working as one) who will act as the Intermediate Rent Operator. The Operator will also let these homes to eligible tenants in line with the Intermediate Rent policy.
The award will be available in the form of a long-term low interest Financial Transactions Capital (FTC) loan.
