Disposal of Land Adjacent to 425 Springfield Road, Belfast, to the Education Authority - Screening

The Department owns a large area of land just off the Springfield Road, Belfast. The Education Authority approached the Department with the intention of acquiring 0.69 acres of the site to improve access to the neighboring Springfield Primary School. The transfer of land to the EA will improve access to the school, improve the safety of all school users and general road users, provide parking facilities to the standard required for a 7 classrooom school and utilize and visually improve the 0.69 acres of land.
