    The impact of the Historic Environment Fund Repair Stream

    The Repair Stream of the Historic Environment Fund launched in 2016 for repairs to both thatched and non-thatched buildings to support owners to carry out minimum work to keep listed buildings watertight.

    We supported 50 Repair application projects in 2025-26, amounting to £468,000.

    Please note that the official figure reported may differ. This arises from our year‑end accounting procedures, whereby variations in accruals carried forward from previous financial years can affect the final outturn.
