    Finance Support is a newly developed service built specifically for the people of Northern Ireland.

    With the changes to the welfare system, Crisis Loans and Community Care Grants under Social Fund will end on 27 November. However, the Northern Ireland Executive has committed funding to ensure customers impacted have access to Finance Support. The new Finance Support Service which is unique to Northern Ireland has been developed to help those who find themselves in times of financial need.

    This new service will go live on Monday 28 November.

    Finance Support has been created to support people in financial need through schemes such as:

    • Discretionary Support
    • Short Term Benefit Advances
    • Maternity Grants
    • Funeral Payments
    • Budgeting Loans
    • Cold Weather Payments
