    About Lisbanemore Cashel

A large cashel, diameter about 55m, has a ruined wall 3–4.5m thick at its base, partly removed on the south side. This was a farmstead enclosure of the Early Christian period, though no structures survive in the interior above ground. No secure access. Access is via private farmland often with stock, so caution and prior arrangement is necessary in order to visit.
