The aim of this consultation is to ensure that trustees have the necessary standards and skills to deliver a modern pensions system that works harder for savers and supports economic growth.
Trusteeship, governance and administration standards must keep pace with the rapidly evolving pensions landscape. The consultation aims to bring all schemes up to the required standard and proposes several new measures designed to raise standards for all trustees. It will also consider ways pension scheme administration standards can be improved for the benefit of savers.
