Consultation description

The Department for Communities has undertaken an Equality Impact Assessment (EQIA) of the decision to end Housing Benefit for working-age claimants who receive help with domestic rates only.

This consultation seeks views from individuals, representative organisations and other stakeholders on the findings of the EQIA, including the identification of potential impacts across the Section 75 equality categories and the effectiveness of proposed mitigation measures.

Responses received during the consultation period will be considered as part of the Department's final EQIA and decision-making process.
