River notice 23/26

Notice is hereby given that the River Lagan between the Lagan Weir and the Stranmillis Weir will be unsafe for navigation between 0000hrs – 0600hrs on Monday 7 September 2026.
Overnight River Lagan lowering - Monday 7 September 2026
The River Lagan will be allowed to go fully tidal at these times to improve water quality.
River users are advised not to be on the river during these periods as the river level will fall substantially below the normal minimum impoundment level.
