    This project details the findings of a research study into pensioners not claiming Pension Credit. It was undertaken as part of the Department’s Economic and Social Research Programme 2021/22 and conducted in two stages. Stage one was conducted by Professional Services Unit and focuses on understanding why some pensioners entitled to Pension Credit are not claiming it. Stage two focuses on applying behavioural insights to design and test interventions aimed at increasing take-up. This was conducted by Behavioural Insights Team
