Subsequent to publication on 29 May 2019, an issue with duplicate data was discovered, leading to a higher number of reported PIP clearances than actually occurred. This impacted the information on pages 1, 3 - 4 (Clearances figures and Clearance times) and pages 7- 8 (DLA to PIP Reassessment outcomes) in the publication and tables 2 - 9 (Clearance figures and Award outcomes) and 16 - 21 (DLA to PIP Reassessment outcomes) of the accompanying PIP Supplementary Tables document. The problem was resolved by removing the duplicates and re-running the analysis. This revision published on 10 June 2019 includes the corrections for each of the impacted figures and charts. 

Personal Independence Payment (PIP) is a new benefit replacing Disability Living Allowance (DLA) for people aged between 16 to 64 years. PIP and DLA cannot be claimed at the same time. PSU have compiled statistics on the following within PIP:
