Housing Rights Core Funding Grant - Housing Advice Services and Policy Support 2022-25 - screening

The policy aims to:

• assist NI citizens to explore options to housing problems relating to a core area i.e. prevention of homelessness, accessing accommodation, affordability, housing conditions;
• provide information/advice, advocacy & negotiation and representation as appropriate;
• use evidence to identify issues and help bring about improvements in housing legislation, policy and practice; and
• enable Housing Rights to access funding from a number of other sources (public and private) so they can deliver a variety of other programmes/ projects.

The policy plans to provide an annual grant for the next 3 years (2022–25). A grant for this purpose has been provided to Housing Rights for many years.
