Prior to the Local Government elections in May 2023, the Department is issuing an updated Circular to the Clerk & Chief Executive of each District Council to remind Councils of the provisions in relation to the appointment of councillors to committees and specifies the operation of the procedures that are available.
This Circular is an update version of the previous Circular (LG 03/19) issued on February 2019.
