Child Poverty Annual Report 2019/20

This report is the Executive’s Child Poverty Annual Report 2019-20 – a report to the Assembly as required by Article 12(7) of the Life Chances Act 2010.

The legislation requires that we publish an Annual Report which describes the measures taken by the Northern Ireland departments in accordance with the Northern Ireland strategy and describes the effects of those measures that contribute to the purpose of ensuring as far as possible that children in Northern Ireland do not experience socio-economic disadvantage. Tackling disadvantage is also an objective reflected in the New Decade New Approach Agreement.
