Appointment of Members to the board of the Ulster Supported Employment Ltd (USEL)
Date published:
The Department for Communities (DfC) wishes to invite applications for the appointment of Members to the Board of the Ulster Supported Employment Ltd.
USEL plays a vital role in supporting disabled people to gain skills, qualifications, and find and sustain employment - building their confidence and fostering independence. It is the largest supporter of people with disabilities in Northern Ireland, with sites across every community.
USEL works in close partnership with NI Executive Departments to shape labour market policy and deliver provision that supports disabled people to move closer, find and thrive in employment.
Applications are welcome from a wide range of people who have an interest in public service, including those who are looking for an opportunity to use their skills and experience. We would particularly welcome applications from women, people with a disability, young people and people from minority ethnic groups for these positions. A Guaranteed Interview Scheme is in place for those applicants with a disability.
Further information on the competition including the essential criteria can be found in the Candidate Information Booklet.
The closing date is 12 noon on Monday 29 June 2026. Late applications will not be considered.
