About Ervey Portal Tomb
This monument stands on a sheltered platform in the south-east corner of a field and can be interpreted as a well-preserved portal tomb facing east. Two portal stones and a low sill stone at the east end lead to a chamber with long side stones and a back stone. Two fallen stones may be former capstones. This is part of the concentration of prehistoric monuments noted in this area.
