    Consultation description

The Government proposes that, in future, the regulation of workplace pension schemes should not focus on the detail of benefit design – that is for the employer or provider to decide – but on what we believe is important to the member: ensuring that any promise or guarantee, whether from the sponsoring employer or scheme provider (such as a commercial or mutual insurer) is delivered.
