    Summary

This consultation concerns a proposed change to the Fraud Compensation Levy ceiling for the levy year 2022 to 2023 onwards.

    Consultation description

The author for this consultation is the Department for Work and Pensions. As such, all consultation information and related documents can be found on the GOV.UK website.

The consultation seeks views on proposals to change the Fraud Compensation Levy (FCL) ceiling for the levy year 2022/23 onwards. The consultation is aimed primarily at those affected by the FCL, including pension scheme trustees and managers and other interested parties.

In general, Northern Ireland’s pensions policy and legislation operate in line with GB and there is, in effect, a single pensions system across the jurisdictions. It is anticipated therefore that corresponding Regulations will be required here.
