Summary

This Government Response Report sets out feedback from consultees. A number of proposals have already been implemented in line with the original 2017 consultation. Of the other proposals some will be brought forward during this mandate, others that require further research will be brought forward in the longer term and two will not be implemented.

Consultation description

The aim of the review was to consider the current and potential future role of the sector and assess the effectiveness of current regulation, identifying where improvements could be made to help make the private rented sector a more attractive housing option.

  • Tenancy Management
  • Property Standards
  • Dispute Resolution
