Review of Social Housing Allocations

The Department has published a Consultation Outcome Report setting out the way forward for the Fundamental Review of Social Housing Allocations. This Report details the actions that will be taken forward by the Housing Executive to improve how social homes are allocated. Also published is a final Equality Impact Assessment.

The Department, delivering on a commitment set out in the Housing Strategy 'Facing the Future' (2012-17) and the draft Programme for Government, published a public consultation in September 2017 on proposals to improve how social homes are allocated. Also published was a draft Equality Impact Assessment.

The Department sought public views on these reports from December 2013 to February 2014. A summary of public comments on the independent proposals is now available
