Jackie Kerr is the Deputy Secretary for Supporting People Group in the Department for Communities.
The Supporting People Group is responsible for Pensions, Disability & Carers Service, Child Maintenance Service (NI and GB), Benefit Uptake, Debt Management, Fraud & Error and Information Services & Property Management.
Prior to joining the Department for Communities, Jackie Kerr was the Head of Business and Employment Regulation Division in the Department for Economy.
Jackie has held a range of senior management positions in the former Departments for Regional Development (DRD), the Office of the First and Deputy First Minister (OFMDFM), and Enterprise, Trade and Investment, (DETI) including the role of Finance Director in OFMDFM.
Jackie has worked in a number of Departments across her NICS career, in finance, audit, policy, project management, and operational roles.
Jackie is a qualified accountant, and member of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy.
