As part of the wider regeneration plans for Portrush and to help the Department for Communities establish the need for a hotel in the town, the Department commissioned a hotel scoping study in 2015.

Following public consultation on the draft Masterplan earlier this year, this document sets out the Department’s long term vision for the Greater Clarendon (Sailortown) Area.
