The Social Security (Claims and Payments, Employment and Support Allowance, Personal Independence Payment and Universal Credit) (Telephone and Video Assessment) (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2021 - screening

COVID-19 Pandemic lead to removal of face-to-face / in person assessments which has impacted ability of Department to process claims effectively through current options. These regulations implement a DWP policy to widen options available to claimants for health assessments (addition of video and telephone assessments).
