The Social Fund Funeral Expenses Payment (Coronavirus) (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2020 - screening

The Funeral Expenses Payment scheme provides help towards the cost of a simple funeral. The Social Fund Funeral Expenses Payment (Coronavirus) (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2020 will increase the £700 limit for other funeral costs to £1000 for all claims.  This change will provide increased financial support to cover funeral expenses, including the funeral director’s fees, flowers, coffin and travel to the funeral.
