Registered Rent Increase - screening

The Department’s policy on rent control for protected and statutory tenancies has as its basis the strategy for the PRS sector, entitled ‘Renting privately: a strategic framework’, published in 2004.

The policy objectives (Section75 screened at that time) includes targeting unfitness and disrepair through repair enforcement and rent control.
