Deployment of an interpreting service (video relay service) for British Sign Language (BSL) and Irish Sign Language (ISL) users in Personal Independence Payment (PIP) and Disability and Carers Service (DCS) in Northern Ireland (NI) screening

The Interpreting service will allow BSL and ISL users access to make telephone calls to PIP and DCS staff through a fully qualified Interpreter. The service will be via a video link between the customer and the Interpreter who in turn will conduct a telephone conversation with PIP or DCS staff.
