Appointment of Assistant Commissioners for the Local Government Boundaries Review

The  Department for Communities is seeking to appoint up to eleven Assistant Commissioners to assist the Commissioner in her Local Government Boundaries Review


This is a challenging and interesting position, which provides an opportunity to become involved in the local electoral landscape.  As an Assistant Commissioner, you will have the opportunity to support the Local Government Boundaries Commissioner in her role.


Applications are welcome from a wide range of people who have an interest in public service, including those who are looking for an opportunity to use their skills and experience. We would particularly welcome applications from women, people with a disability, young people and people from minority ethnic groups for these positions. A Guaranteed Interview Scheme is in place for those applicants with a disability.
