Natasha Rock (26) of Manor Mews, Bangor, claimed Jobseeker’s Allowance, Income Support and Housing Benefit totaling £13,214 while failing to declare she was living with a partner. She was given 60 hours community service. The fraud was uncovered following an investigation by the Department for Communities.
William Sheridan (59) of Cloverhill Avenue, Bangor, claimed Disability Living Allowance totaling £3,719 while failing to declare a change in circumstances. He was sentenced to three months imprisonment suspended for twelve months.
They are also required to repay any outstanding money wrongfully obtained to the Department for Communities.
