A man was convicted at Dungannon Crown Court today for claiming over £6,000 in benefits he was not entitled to.
Sean Donnelly (61) of Adair Gardens, Cookstown claimed Disability Living Allowance totaling £6,344 while failing to declare a change in circumstances. He was given two months imprisonment suspended for twelve months. The fraud was uncovered following an investigation by the Department for Communities.
All wrongfully obtained money has been repaid to the Department for Communities.
