A woman was convicted at Newtownards Magistrates’ Court today for claiming benefits she was not entitled to.
Rhonda Redpath (39) of Glenbrook Road, Newtownards claimed Income Support and Housing Benefit totalling £5,968 while failing to declare employment. She was given 60 hours community service.
She is also required to repay any outstanding money wrongfully obtained to the Department for Communities.
