A man was convicted at Antrim Crown Court today for claiming benefits he was not entitled to.
Michael Begley (56) of Duncrum Road, Limavady claimed Jobseekers Allowance and Rates totalling £18,152 while failing to declare employment and capital. He was given three months imprisonment suspended for two years.
He is also required to repay any outstanding money wrongfully obtained to the Department for Communities.
