A man was convicted at Enniskillen Magistrates’ Court today for claiming over £5,000 in benefits he was not entitled to.
Bernard Wheeler (52) of Lackaboy View claimed Jobseeker’s Allowance totaling £5,127 while failing to declare he was working. He was given a sentence of 100 hours Community Service.
The fraud was uncovered following an investigation by the Department for Communities.
He is also required to repay any outstanding money wrongfully obtained to the Department for Communities.
