A man was convicted at Limavady Magistrates’ Court today for claiming benefits he was not entitled to.
James Ireland (56) of Bonnanaboigh, Dungiven claimed Employment Support Allowance totalling £3,074 while failing to declare an occupational pension. He was given a three month prison sentence suspended for two years.
He is also required to repay any outstanding money wrongfully obtained to the Department for Communities.
