A man was convicted at Lisburn Magistrates’ Court today for claiming over £3000 in benefits he was not entitled to.
Odhran Livingstone (27) of, Dunmurry claimed Universal Credit totalling £3716 by making false declarations. He was given four months imprisonment. The fraud was uncovered following an investigation by the Department for Communities.
He is also required to repay any outstanding money wrongfully obtained to the Department.
