The Department for Communities’ Financial Investigation Unit obtained a Confiscation Order to the value of £14,670.20 against a Bangor woman at Downpatrick Crown Court today.
Emma Nagle (34) from Belfast Road, Bangor, claimed Income Support and Housing Benefit fraudulently. On 18 January 2019 she was sentenced to two months imprisonment suspended for 12 months.
At the confiscation hearing today the Court granted a Confiscation Order in the amount of £14,670.20. The defendant must satisfy the order by 13 August 2019 or serve a five year prison sentence for non-payment of the order, which will remain payable
