A woman was convicted at Downpatrick Crown Court today for claiming over £9,800 in benefits she was not entitled to.
Rhoda Graham ( 45 ) of Belgravia Gardens, Bangor claimed Income Support and Rates totalling £9,809 while failing to declare employment. She was given 100 hours Community Service on each of the two charges ( 200 hours in total ).
She is also required to repay any outstanding money wrongfully obtained to the Department for Communities.
The fraud was uncovered following an investigation by the Department for Communities.
