A man was convicted at Ballymena Magistrates’ Court today for claiming benefits he was not entitled to.
David Given (46) of Antrim Road, Ballee, Ballymena claimed Jobseeker’s Allowance totalling £4,091 while failing to declare employment. He was given a three month prison sentence suspended for twelve months.
He is also required to repay any outstanding money wrongfully obtained to the Department for Communities.
